Hustler has its problems - most of which they drag their feet when it comes to recalls. Bad brackets that owner is responsible for. But the worst part is that the dealer in Ronan, Montana is the worst dealer imaginable. Bad for ripping you off for all repairs. You never get a break on repairs that were caused by their mechanic.

Hustler Turf Equipment - Repair issue
I called and was addressing my issue with my hustler. I was told this happens quite a bit with the Hustler mower. The transmission bracket broke and the belt came off. The fellow I spoke to stated he would call back and let me know what the Hustler Manufacturer would do. He never returned the call at all. I don't believe I would ever purchase.another one ior recommend them to anyone .

Broken transaxle mounts

Loved the mower but already welded rear transaxle mounts. They broke again. Poor quality of metal used on all of the mounts. I heard that Hustler new about this issue and there is an upgraded mounting kit available.I would hope that an expensive machine like this,which I purchased new,would be compensated with this upgrade. I will do the labor myself. Thank you. I would appreciate a response asap being I'm on 2 1/2 acres and the grass is getting long

1 May 2022: When my Raptor SD 60" mower was three years old with only 95.5 hours I was mowing a small field when the right side spindle ripped completely lose from the deck (see attached photos). One of my deciding factors in buying this mower was the fabricated 10 gauge deck. I was certain that I could count on this deck lasting 1500 hours and minimum 15 years. I'm very disappointed with the quality of the deck and would not recommend that anyone buy a Hustler mower. Before this happened I was considering buying a commercial Hustler mower...Now, not so much.

User's recommendation: Inspect the deck every six months and/or 25 hours for cracks. Also do a detailed mower and deck inspection 60 days and/or 25 hours prior to warranty expiration.

Poor customer service

Hustler Turf Equipment - Poor customer service
Last month my fast track 60, Clutch went bad . According The dealer who I had service My machine told me that this is a common occurrence after 800 hours. The worst part was, the clutch went bad , and it caused the bolt that was integral to it and both pulley systems to snap and shear off. This only compound at the problem. The dealer said that this is happened three times this year to other people and it was a *** to get out. He either had to drill or tap it, weld a nut on it , Or take the home motor out and drive shift apart to get it out. This is a $2500 plus service. Im not sure why Hustler has not recalled the clutch or at least informed its customers that they should change the clutch out every 600 hours before this happens . That alone would have saved me at least two grand. I then called customer service to see how they could help me, and the first lady was wonderful. But two days later she referred me to Lucas, and Brian answered for him because he was too busy. Brian was OK, but Lucas was terrible. He could care less whether or not I lost $3000 or not. He could care less about an American made product that I bought for that reason. Im completely disappointed and disgusted by hustler. I will never buy one again, and I will tell every person that I know specifically union workers that I will never buy a hustler. Its a shame for Americans, that American made products are more expensive, and their companies such as hustler or not reciprocal and helpful when Parts go bad because of planned obsolescence. Shame on you HUSTlER!

Cracked frame parts not available

Belt came off from cracked frame battery frome cracked hydro gear leaking not happy with mower paid good hard earned money and Hussler don't have part's they are back ordered with all the rain my mower is at the dealer.

Great customer service

Went to dealer 30 miles from home to E. Peoria. German Bliss to buy blades for my Raptor sdx mower. Parts guy was new and very professional. Had to call Hustler Cust Service and spoke to Becky another very professional person who gave me my model number. I promptly left happy with my blades.

Warranty information

I had a back tire come off the rim of my zero turn raptor SD mower, and Took it to the place I bought it And was charged $152 to replace it. I wouldve thought that wouldve been covered under my warranty. I financed the mower in 2019.

Finding oil filter

I have a 2003 Hustler Z Model #926667 which list Part #785634 Engine Oil Filter (Honda). What is the new # for this part? Also, need to know recommended engine oil to use. Great mower that I bought new in 2003 and only had to replace starter and general maintenance.
